ON FEYNMAN’S PORCH 36×48″ acrylic on canvas
Interested in quantum physics and its description of reality, I used a Feynman diagram
of the interaction of particles drawn on a McDonalds wrapper and laid it out in
food from McDonalds. The diagram explains how new matter is created in a cy-
clotron.
James H. Vredevoogd holds a BA from Michigan State University and an MFA in painting from Cranbrook Academy of Art. His paintings are in the permanent collections of two museums, two universities, and various private collections. An Emeritus professor of Art at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, he taught painting, drawing, and performance Art for thirty-two years.
